Republicans love to falsely claim that there is a war on Christmas, but it seems like the GOP is waging a war on Halloween.
Or at least that’s how Joe Biden celebrates it.
The president and first lady invited a group of children to go trick-or-treating at the White House on Monday night, and @RNCResearch, a social media page targeting several Democratic politicians, felt compelled to post clips of the Biden handing out candy. to the kids.
The people behind the GOP account, in their infinite wisdom, somehow thought the clips would make the president look bad.
Instead, he looked human.
The first clip was against Jill Biden for explaining that she was dressed as Willow, the White House cat.
The second clip attempted to make Biden seem out of touch for not answering a joking question about his costume.
The third clip mocked the president for acting “scared” by a child’s costume and dropping some candy.
The clip below mocked Biden for appearing distracted while his wife set up a photo with trick-or-treaters.
The RNC Research account then examined Biden for pretending to eat a fake ice cream cone.
The final clip «got» Biden a bit, as it showed him coughing into his hand before handing out more candy to the children.
Many people on X, formerly known as Twitter, were not impressed with RNC Research’s «findings.»
One commenter said the clips simply demonstrated that those behind the account «have never been loved or invited to anything.»
